The conference featured dedicated advanced hands-on workshops, scientific sessions on PET/CT, radiomics, AI and machine learning, breast and lung cancer imaging, neuro-oncology, head and neck cancers and other areas of oncologic imaging. Hands-on workshops provided participants with practical exposure to cross-sectional imaging and image-guided interventions, including biopsy, drainage, breast interventions and ablation techniques. The meeting featured renowned national and international faculty, with leading experts sharing their experience in oncologic imaging. The conference was organized under the leadership of Dr. Sudhir Kale, Organizing Chairman; Dr. Shivakumar Swamy, Organizing Secretary; Dr. Pankaj Sharma, President, SOII; and Dr. Umesh Krishnamurthy, Chief Patron, with participation from several senior radiologists and experts from across India and abroad.

Dr. C. N. Manjunath, Member of Parliament, Bengaluru South, graced the first day of the conference and highlighted the importance of advances in medical imaging and technology in cancer diagnosis and management, along with the need to strengthen awareness around prevention and early detection.

The second day also saw a cancer awareness walkathon, led by Dr. Manthar Gowda, MLA, Madikeri, and a radiologist, with around 150 delegates participating. The initiative focused on cancer prevention, screening, early detection and timely access to diagnosis and treatment.
