·       FELICITATES INDIA’S GROWTH DRIVERS FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTION IN TAKING INDIA TO GREATER HEIGHTS

In keeping with its commitment to take ahead the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of making India an economic super power, Summit India has organised the first edition of ‘Innovative India Summit – 2023’ with an aim to bring country’s top thought leaders on one platform and recognise their contribution towards India’s growth story. The Summit was held in New Delhi on May 16, 2023.

Honourable Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Shri Vijay Sampla graced the occasion as chief guest and addressed the gathering. He said, Innovation plays a significant role in nation building and making India self reliant. Our country has great potential at every level from grassroots where our school children have several global platforms that recognise their innovative ideas; similarly our youth has made India world’s third largest country with start-ups after USA and China. This is not only empowering the country but also creating job opportunities. Witnessing organisations like Summit India providing platforms like Innovative India Summit 2023 makes me proud but I think we need many similar events not only in India but across the global to recognise and encourage our entrepreneurs that will surely play an important factor in taking India on top of world’s economic super powers.”

The Innovative India Summit 2023 witnessed several eminent speakers like Prof. Sridhar Srivastava, J. Director NCERT; Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar, Chief Coordinating Officer AICTE along with representatives of several Ministries, Embassies, PSUs, Federations, Cooperative Societies, NGOs and Start-ups.  Also, Consulate Generals of different countries namely Sh. Sanjeev Aeren, Honorary Consulate of Haiti, Sh. Neeraj A Sharma, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Palau, Dr. Janis Darbari, Honorary Consul General of Montenegro, Dr. Deepak Jain, Honorary Consul General of Tuvalu, graced the event with their presence.

I feel it is very important to recognise the contribution of everyone who has been playing an important role in shaping India’s growth story and Innovative India Summit 2023 is one of the small steps towards that. Such awards will not only boost the morale of all the achievers but also provide them a platform to showcase their work in front of the world. I also congratulate all the winners and thank them for making our country a powerhouse of innovations. I hope to see the number of participants in the race of these awards grow by many folds in our upcoming summits.”

Shri Mahesh Verma, Secretary General Summit India said, “Today we have seen innovators from across the globe. It proves that there is no dearth of dynamic Indians worldwide who are following our Honourable Prime Minister’s footsteps towards making our country USD 5 trillion economy.  Expressing our gratitude to everyone at single platform is very difficult, hence we will be organising more editions of Innovative India Summit in different parts of the country and abroad to maximise our reach. The entire team of Summit India has worked tirelessly to identify such talented growth drivers of India. It is the credibility of the workforce behind this initiative that we have seen this massive participation today.”
